The
Harker Heights Event Center serves as a top-rate entertainment facility
for central Texas. With 30,000 square feet of exhibit space—the Harker
Heights Event Center has the space for any important event. The HHEC
is also home to some of the most top-rated concert events in the
Central Texas area.
Conveniently located on the east edge of Harker Heights, directly off
HWY 190, the HHEC is just a 18 miles west of IH-35,15 minutes from the
Killeen Regional Airport, and within 5 mile drive of major hotels and
quality restaurants. After hours, conventioneers and visitors can turn
to the Harker Heights nearby entertainment district for an evening of
dining and unwinding.In nearby Killeen, Texas, there are
restaurants, bars, and shops varied enough to suite any taste.
The HHEC facility has many amenities available to you: 30,000 square
foot exhibit space, 40 x 30 stage, private dressing rooms, full bars
(staffed), tables and chairs, and kitchen facilities.

Rental Information
- Rental: $1200.00 (hours 9 AM- 2AM)
- Hourly Rate: $100.00 per hour
- Cleaning Deposit (refundable): $200.00
- Labor: $10.00 per hour / per person
- Additional Labor: $12.00 ph/pp; if handling money
- Catering Fee: no fee, if caterer is from the HHEC approved list
non-approved caterers: less than 250 guests;
flat $250.00 fee. More than 250 guests; $1.00 per plate.
- Ticketed Events: 10% of gross ticket sales (sold at our facility)

Directions to the Harker Heights Event Center
From Killeen, traveling East on HWY 190, take the Indian Trail exit. Turn left onto Indian Trial, pass the HEB and turn right on Clore Rd. At stop sign, turn left onto Lookout Ridge apartments. After passing the apartments, turn right into the side entrance of the shopping center parking lot. HHEC is at the opposite side of the parking lot.
From Dallas, traveling South on I-35, take HWY 190 Exit (Killeen, Ft. Hood, Copperas Cove) exit. Follow HWY 190 through Nolanville, TX. Take the Nola Ruth Exit. At top of off ramp, take the second left turn. This puts you back onto the feeder road of the highway. Follow to stop sign and turn right. Turn into the shopping center on the left.
From Austin, traveling North on I-35, take the Loop 121 Exit. Turn left over the overpass of I-35 and follow Loop 121 past the Bell County Expo Center to HWY 190. Turn left (west) onto HWY 190 and travel through Nolanville, TX. Take the Nola Ruth Exit. At top of off ramp, take the second left turn. This puts you back onto the feeder road of the highway. Follow to stop sign and turn right. Turn into the shopping center on the left.
From Houston, traveling West on HWY 290, take HWY 6 through Bryan-College Station. Turn West on HWY 79 until you reach Round Rock, Texas. Turn North on I-35 to Belton, Texas. Take the Loop 121 Exit. Turn left over the overpass of I-35 and follow Loop 121 past the Bell County Expo Center to HWY 190. Turn left (west) onto HWY 190 and travel through Nolanville, TX. Take the Nola Ruth Exit.
